Save the date, July 22nd 7pm until 2am, for the Comic-Con Tweetup! A Tweetup is a Twitter Meetup, and well, you surely know what Comic-Con is, and together are sure to be a great time for everyone. Costumes are encouraged!

@DowntownRob is partnering with @UTStreet, @SDUT, and @SDComicCon to host this special Tweetup! The @UTStreet staff will be on hand to cover and photograph the Tweetup in all it's glory, so don't be surprised if you see your photo on their web sites or in the paper, especially those wearing costumes!

FYI this event starts at 7pm, get there early. About 9 or 10pm the DJs will start, and partying continues until 1 or 2am!

LorenaMy only quibble was that the music was too loud to hear people. If we're supposed to be networking, it would be helpful to hear one another. Also, too bad there weren't any screens showing us tweeting!

Todd+1 guestMeetup said costumes were encouraged and I do not recall any mention of a dress code. I was unable to get in at 9pm due to not meeting dress code by wearing sandals. (It's San Diego, anywhere allows sandals except only the trendiest of places... and this is Comic Con!?)
