NASA WorldWind presents:
End-to-End Infrastructure for 3D Data
• World Wind technology consists of the two essential elements for delivering and experiencing 3D data: the server technology and the client technology.
• These technologies are optimized to accommodate internationally established protocols for exchange of 3D data, referred to as Web Mapping Services (WMS).
• Because World Wind is a NASA Open Source Agreement technology, U.S. government agencies, private enterprise, and the international community have begun to standardize on this NASA technology. This includes the Department of Defense, multiple space agencies, several governments, and a few Fortune 100 companies.
• The advanced functionality of this NASA technology is accelerating development of solutions worldwide that serve both proprietary and non-proprietary interests.
Brightkite presents:
Use Brightkite to meet people around you, keep track of your friends, explore and discover new places. Brightkite is used by more than 2 million people a month. Rob lawson, co-founder and CMO will give a live demonstration of the product, including unreleased features.
WeoGeo presents:
WeoGeo is a scalable content management platform for professional engineers, architects, and geographers. Our content managment services enhance customer productivity and provide cost savings over competing solutions. WeoGeo's managed, Software-as-a-Service solution is combined with an “iTunes Store”-like marketplace that creates new revenue incentives for our customers to share their mapping products. Our mission is to increase our customers' productivity and revenues while decreasing their costs to do business.
We meet in Kiev Training Room of Building 40 at Google HQ in Mountain View. To locate our meeting place, use this map . If you've never been there, you may need a few extra minutes to navigate through the campus. To get to Kiev Training Room, you must enter through the lobby of Building 40. Once in the lobby, Google requires that you sign an electronic NDA. Please be courteous of their professional space and grant them this request. Security will escort you to Kiev Training Room after you've signed in. Dinner and beverages are graciously donated by Google so come prepared to chat, network, have fun and get your WebMapSocial fill. Thank you for your understanding.
