Thats an excellent suggestion, Shahar. What kind of time-frames would you like to see events sliced by? We can work on setting that up.

Also typically what type of categories are you interested in seeing events filtered by?

Will def take a look at Nuconomy Studio!

cheers,
Gary

Very cool. Although you must add the ability to slice the events by time frame and category.
Still... This is a very needed information in the bay area.

By  the way, the product of my company NuConomy Studio, could really help you with better propagating engaging and interesting events, targeting content to users etc. It?s a free platform and some of our customers are Fox, Microsoft, Angies List, Mahalo, Going.com and many more...
I?ll be happy to help if you want. I?ll love to have a useful events site I can actually sue for SF :)

Hi guys, I hope its okay to post this  here.

I run a site called  Garysguide.org - an Events Calendar for Tech & New Media  folks. We were recently profiled in the NY Times. http://www.nytimes.com/2008/08/03/fashion/03webparty.html <http://www.nytimes.com/2008/08/03/fashion/03webparty.html>

Currently we are in 6 cities - New York,  Boston, DC, Chicago, LA and Seattle. And we just launched the San  Francisco / Bay Area version. You can check it out at ... http://sf.garysguide.org/events
<http://seattle.garysguide.org/events>

I hope you guys find it useful. We've tried to make it as  exhaustive as possible. If we've missed any events, please do let us  know.

Would love to get your advice on how to get the word out to the  tech community in San Francisco. Thanks!! Any help would be  appreciated.

Feel free to forward this to anyone who you think might  find it useful.

cheers and have a great week!
Gary
