Thanks to GreenInfo Network (greeninfo.org) for offering to host our
second meeting.

Quick details:
Wednesday, April 8 at 5.45 PM
564 Market Street, Suite 510 SF, 94104
Right next to the Montgomery Bart

This time around we're going to try to have at least one presentation
related to open source stuff, along with general discussion. There's
so much to choose from that I thought I'd try out this Google
Moderator business that I've seen used with some success in similar
situations. The link is http://moderator.appspot.com/#8/e=325a7 and
you need a google account to vote/add new ideas.

I'll probably seed this with 5 or 10 ideas if I have to, but it would
be great if others could put some things up they'd be willing to bring
to the table. For example, if you are working somewhere that is
considering integrating some open source but aren't sure exactly which
pieces might fit best where, that is a really great conversation.
Point being: I like technical discussions on specific software, but
with the expertise available in this group I believe we can do a lot
of good in the local OS GIS community by also focusing on general
integration and related overview topics.

So please check out the google moderator link -- but if you just want
to keep ideas on the list here, or email me privately with them,
that's fine too.

Cheers - and looking forward to seeing you April 8.

-Josh
