Hey All,
Sorry it's been a while since organizing our last meetup. The end of the semester gets a bit crazy. I have the computer lab (room 4281) reserved for 7/27 from 7-10 p.m. I'll lead a workshop on getting started with the basics of building a web page using a text editor and a web browser. It's a good beginning workshop, or review if you've been away from coding html for awhile. Here's what we'll cover:

• Create html pages using a text editor and a web browser
  
• Use basic html tags for formatting text
  
• Create links to other web pages and web sites
  
• Add images
  
• Beginning style sheet formatting
  

Feel free to bring a flash drive to save your files so you can take them with you.

If you have any ideas or suggestions for a meetup in August, please let me know. Even better, if you have a topic that you would like to lead the group in, I'll set it up. Hope your summer has been going well.

I'm also looking for a couple of volunteers to get there early and greet members at the front of the building. I'll have directions printed that you can give out to get everyone to the computer lab.
