An acquaintance who is also a member recommended you to me - and I hear that you have a CNC laser-cutting machine that I might be able to use to create small objects out of fiberboard. I have a design for a dice tower already, and am eager to see if my design will actually work.
In the most simple terms, a doer is someone who does things. It's not a word I generally use, so the word doesn't carry much connotation for me. In the context of the Wellington Makerspace, I assume that "doer" would generally refer to someone who is proactive, motivated, and uses modern technology to create real-world things.
I learned woodworking from my dad when I was very young, and then learned 3D animation and VFX in university. I've been extremely interested in methods of using 3D models to create real-world objects for a long time - and am now looking into it.
