Have you sail before?

4 to 5 I have raced the Solent and a few other locations on 40 to 50 foot yachts, for over a decade, the initial 4 years as crew, then the latter 7 years as Skipper and charter organiser, mainly using Sunsail's boats (new Beneteau 40.7's) and race format i.e. 10 weekends a year with 4 races per weekend, covering Spring, summer and Autumn series. In addition, I charter a J109 for the Frostbite Series with Royal Southampton in Jan/Feb. As far as costs go (circa £110 per head), it equates to a weekend's worth of sedentary B&B, but with 4 races and a good social 48 hours, it offers a great deal more value for money. I also organise cruising charters and want to focus more on Croatia and Caribbean. Have raced/cruised the latter location on three fortnight holidays, and must do more. I am used to taking on all levels of experience and have trained up a large variety of folk, some who've gone on to buy their own yachts

Do you have any sailing qualifications?

Yachtmaster Theory; Coastal Skipper Practical; Radio; First Aid; Sea Survival; Radar; Diesel engine; 13,000 varied sailing and racing NM. Solent and UK; Med; Canaries; Caribbean; Australia

I gather crew and organise the charter of yachts, mainly for racing. Have skippered these over the last 7 years, and crewed for 4 years prior to that, notching up 13,000nm. This is strictly non-profit, and costs split among the numbers on board
