Writers Critique

Writers will submit their works in progress in the files section for other members to read and write comments on. If possible, please bring a few copies to pass around just in case, but this is not mandatory.

This group is self-sustaining. I expect to attend every meeting I post, but, in the event I, suddenly, can not, if an assistant organizer is able to attend, they can help lead the group for that specific meetup.

Members are encouraged to keep sharing to 10-15 minutes each, if the group is larger.

Also, please note, there are submission guidelines. They are listed as 'Submission Guidelines' under the 'Discussions' tab. There is a format we follow in an attempt to keeps things moving along in a freindly, yet, concise manner.

It was so wonderful seeing each of you and hearing your feedback. I'm encouraged by your response to my work (very rough draft) so far, and humbled by how much work I still have to do. Thank you all and have a wonderful Christmas or Holiday of your choice :-)

Well, if you submit something, we will be sure to critique yours first. Also, we'll let you give your critiques of submitted works first.

Actually, I'm not sure if I can make today. If I can, I will be there late and may have to leave earlier. Saturday's are tough with little ones. Thanks!

Yo fellow agents I will see you all tomorrow, but instead of being ridiculously early, I may be a touch late -- thanks for all your patience and see your tomorrow!

Perspective: By the time my story about the thief got to WindyCon 41 it had already been through some huge, huge changes, including a much more episodic 90K version and the first ten pages being my anti-hero's memories about Mars!

I have a 7550-word RADICAL re-write of the 1st chapter of the novel about their thief (and an outline of a RADICAL re-working of the whole book) that I'd like to share at the December meeting, if that's possible.
