Experience the beautiful dances and rhythms of West Africa for yourself! Top drum and dance performing artists share their love of the most energizing activity on the planet... with YOU! Let's meet people of all ages and backgrounds, so we may learn and feel joy together... and drum the beats passed down over countless generations. West African culture is for everyone. The drum can't tell the color of your skin and neither can the dance floor... both will fill you up with goodness. It doesn't matter your skill level--you will grow from where you are.  You don't have to own a drum. Bring a djembe (JIM-bey) or dundun (doon-doon) if you have one, but we have enough on hand to share with you. Dancing happens to live drumming, and drummers can get extra training by playing along once the dancing begins. There is no judgment here, but you will find all of it inspirational and fun if you are a first-timer, and if you are an old pro, we will share what you need to reach that next level of excellence. The very name of the drum we play--djembe--means "Come together in peace," and that's what we do... but it will be better when we see YOU!

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
