Welcome to Endor!
No ewoks on this one... but we will be spending lots of time on Endor. I'm not sure if we'll do the entire loop or just the quick route to the flow trail, but I'm planning on sessioning the Flow trail for a couple hours. The ride loop without Endor is around 9 miles, and the Flow trail is about 1 mile including the hike back to the top. The last few times I've been out to this place I've done 3-4 runs on the flow trail and still felt like I had more in me, but we'll just set a time limit. Get as many rides in as you can sort of thing. Once we've had our fun we'll finish out the loop with some great single track and head back to town.
This ride is ok for Strong Adv. Beginners that have the endurance to ride for several hours. We'll stick together until we get to the flow trail where we'll then just take turns on the feature park and flow trail at our own pace. The trails at Tamarancho are a bit technical with some loose rocky sections and lots of switchbacks, but they're nothing worse than STP (rocks) or Waterdog (switchbacks).
This is going to be another small group ride. So plan to keep it tight. We'll ride in together and stay together. The whole point of this ride is to stick together and enjoy each other's company as we rip it up on the sweet single track of Tamarancho.
One last thing... Riding at Tamarancho requires the purchase of a day pass. This goes to maintaining these great trails and keeping them awesome for us riders. Get your pass here...
It's time to shred some gnar! SHAKA BRAH!
