Doing a super easy ride as I'm healing from an injury. I need to spin the cranks to keep the blood flowing. Plus I haven't ridden my 29er XC bike in forever. We'll start from my work in Campbell that's connected to the Los Gatos Creek Trail, take a scenic, paved bike route through Lake Vasona, and then continue through to St. Joseph Preserve. To be respectful to the hikers, I will keep this ride small. I'm enforcing a speed limit no faster than 15mph on the downhill. 900 foot climb over 13 miles. This ride is great if you're new to biking or if you just want to spin. Advanced beginners and up will find this ride rather boring. The only hard section is a very short climb up "cardiac hill" and then the rest of the ride is smooth sailing.
A helmet and properly functioning mountain bike is required for this ride. Not recommended for hybrid bikes.
