This is a slow beginners ride, just as the De LaVeaga rides, but the trails are really different here. We will ride up the Emma McCrary singletrack trail about 1.5 miles to the U-Conn singletrack trail for another 1.5 miles. The first trail is flowy and a mild climb, and the second is a steeper, slower climb. No real hard switchbacks or super technical sections. Then we will turn around and practice our downhill skills as U-Conn is a great trail for this, and down Emma McCrary trail is great practice for some slight downhill flowy, pump-style trail action. All in all about 6 miles of perfect cross country trail sessioning for beginners at a slow pace, in a beautiful area to ride.
