Although the Open Space site said Boccardo trail was closed, the trail was actually open today. The conditions are perfect if you are planning to ride it this weekend. Thanks Bob for coming out to ride.

Boccardo was still closed today so I'm not sure if it will be open tomorrow. If it doesn't rain tomorrow, I still plan to ride the park same time but just do laps - about 12 miles in 1-1/2 - 2 hours to get in a good workout. There will be plenty of climbing. If it rains during the day, the ride is automatically cancelled to allow the trails to dry out.

Boccardo was closed last Sunday and with the rain tonight, i don't think they will be opening up the trail any time soon. However, I will call the park on Wed and if the trail is still closed, I will cancel this ride.

Fred, cousin Cary beat you to the idea. I scheduled a Boccardo and Beyond? ride 3/25. As the ride details say, park outside in the residential area and bike light is a must just in case we run late, we'll take the road back. I think that bionic knee should be working by then - gonna ride it with us? Think 3 hours is enough for this nutty ride : )

One of these days Julie, we got to set up a ride that continues on to Vista Point after climbing Boccardo. That will be a true endurance fest.
