900 ft of climbing about 4-5 miles.

Please note the climb here is slightly tougher than Arastradero or Fremont Older. It's time I started hosting beginner rides to help some of our newer riders transition into our advanced beginner rides. We'll meet at Summit Bicycles. They're a great shop that sponsors SJMTB btw. We'll go through the Los Gatos Creek Trail, up the short but challenging Cardiac hill, down a nice little trail that leads back to downtown Los Gatos. There's nothing technical here whatsoever.

Speed limit of 15mph highly enforced here.

We'll take it slow and steady to help support those that aren't used to climbing. If you can clear Cardiac Hill without stopping then congrats, you can climb at the level of an advanced beginner.

Thanks for coming out Kelly. If only we had known the rangers were not there, then it would have been much more fun on the downhills.

We just grab a coffee and speak French. Some people have been coming every week for months... it creates a kind of warmth to the group.
