Harry Rd., Santa Theresa

I ride a loop about 6 miles with short climbs and fast fun XC, and about a paved mile up Bernal then a FUN downhill through the middle of the park. I usually do this and some of the other trails and I would like to learn others, so if you ride here... Its a fun place to ride, as tech as you want. Come join me. Ride Rating: Pace: C (social, conversational pace) or what ever we are comfortable with. Tech: 3/10 - This ride isn't featuring all the fast technical trails that we usually ride here so it will be a great intro ride to STP. I am also open to other trails and exploring, whatever we make up on the spot. Phys: 4/10 - Starting from Harry Rd. is a mile of XC, fast with a couple of short climbs, perfect warm up. Short 50 yard climb past the bathrooms XC and down to Bernal, up Bernal, about a mile, paved. At the last parking lot (mini) on the left there is a terrific down hill, I've gone over 30mph. Then much more... Mileage: 6mi. Loop with whatever we decide to add or explore. Elevation Gain: 750+ ft. Getting There: Take Almaden it ends (4 lanes to 3 to 2 to 1) at Harry Rd., turn left and go about 1/2 mile park on the bridge by the trail head, you'll see it on the right. As always a helmet is required for all SJMTB rides and extra protective gear is recommended if you are tentative about riding down rocky trails. If the ride is relatively short so you shouldn't need too much in the way of supplies. Water, a small snack, and your basic trail side tools (multi-tool, tube, pump) should be sufficient for these rides. Longer rides will require a bit more in the way of water and supplies. If you've got questions please contact the ride organizer or refer to the links below. SJ MTB is having a great time riding this year so come out and join us. For more information on how we rate our rides check our ratings page here... and for a basic idea of what to bring on a ride, we also have a beginner gear guide here... Any other questions feel free to email me @ [masked] Also don't forget SJMTB T-shirts are available in pretty quick order. So don't forget to order yours today! SJMTB T-shirt site

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
