About us:

West End Club London is a language lovers’ party for nice people with similar interests to get to know each other and learn from each other. So apart from the language learning sessions, WECL is a socialising event by nature as well.

The event is usually held in The Duke of York (Add: 8 Dering street , London W1S 1AF), approx 3 minutes walking from either Oxford Circus or Bond Street tube stations on the Central, Victoria, Bakerloo and Jubilee Lines. The pub has 3 floors, we use either the downstairs or the upper lounge, depending on the availability. There is a sign of “meetup.com/West End Club London ” when you enter the pub to indicate the event location.

The event kicks off 6.45pm with registration and introduction. All the attendees will register at arrival with me, and we will provide a name-badge (or sticker) for each attendee to wear, thus we could recognise each other. Most people would go to grab a drink at the bar after registration, and socialise with students or have a chat with the teachers to get prepared for the lesson.
