Blasphemy Movie Night

Join us for our 3rd movie night at Popcorn Noir on Saturday, August 3 at 9:30 pm.

We'll be showing a 2006 documentary about the "Kids On Fire School of Ministry" (no joke) summer camp. Guaranteed to be scarier than a campfire tale.

The event is free, but make sure mom packs spending money for the great food and drinks. Learn more about Popcorn Noir and check out the menu on their website: http://www.easthamptonpopcorn.com/

Here's the seating so far, let me know in the comments or by email where you'd like to sit.

Couches (up front): Emily, Shawn +2 guests, Brandon, Jen, Kaysie, and Sean

Chairs: Rita, Donald Samson, Jamaal, Jeanne Reed, Samantha +1 guest, Brian, and Sara T

Please arrive 15 minutes early, as they may give away reserved seats to people who are waiting if there is high demand.

So sorry for the late notice, but I'm feeling sick and won't be able to make it.

I'm going to ask tom to reserve the first row of chairs for us as well. We should be all set.

Hi, Sean, I wasn't sure if I should respond with that info email or here... I don't mind a chair. I don't have a membership. Thanks. Can't wait for the show!

Great Rita, I updated the Meetup so we can keep track and we'll make sure that we reserve a seat for you. Good to see you yesterday.

I do not have a VIP, and I have never been to popcorn noir before. I am looking forward to being scared!!

    1 · July 22, 2013

    • Sean

Glad that you're going Kaysie. I think you'll enjoy the film, group, and location (and won't be too scared).

I also have a VIP membership. Should I make my reservation with Popcorn Noir? And, if so is it confusing for you that I RSVPd Yes here? Let me know what the best, least confusing approach is :-)

    July 20, 2013

    • Sean

Hey Jen, I was hoping to see how much interest there was and then figure out the seating arrangements. Popcorn Noir isn't accepting reservations for that night yet so we have a bit of time.

      July 20, 2013

  • Samantha

I have a VIP membership but I don't know how it works. Will VIPs reserve seats? Just if they don't want to sit on the couch?

    July 17, 2013

    • Sean

Sam, that's the idea. We'll save the 8 for folks without memberships. If we get a waitlist, we can start using our VIP memberships to reserve extras.

      July 17, 2013

  • Stacey

I'm tentative but I have a VIP membership so I don't need a spot from the pool.

    July 17, 2013

  • Shawn

Interesting choice... mix it up a bit! I've got a membership and plan to bring a couple of friends, so I bumped up the RSVP limit to 12.

I think it will be still be fun, just not funny - or as fun as being appalled by extremist indoctrination can be ;)
