PVS Monthly Meeting/ Discussion Group

We generally take a few minutes at the beginning of each monthly meeting to plan upcoming PVS community building efforts and events. The general discussions afterwards give members a chance to discuss relevant topics, current events, and explore new ideas.

Paid parking is available behind and across from the library. The meters accept quarters.

I'm sorry but I'm not going to be able to make it due to babysitting grandchildren. Hope to see you next time.

Hello everyone, we're only booked in the room until 3 today, so it will be a short meeting. See you soon!

One potential topic that always interests me is boycotts - should the secular community use them, against whom, and to what ends? Do you boycott businesses that are run by religious owners, or give profits to religious groups? Is it possible to boycott all of them?

And I still want to organize a protest at Holy Grounds at some point!

In like to boycott Churches and Mosques. Chik'Filet is obvious but I am not sure what else and to what end. So much of our society is religious I think it is hard to separate out. I'll have to learn me something here.

Hi Andy- I know you're new to town and may not know the Forbe's layout yet. If you have younger kids in your family, it's nice that the children's library is actually adjacent to the room we normally use, but sometimes we get bumped to another room... Nice meeting you the other day:)

To be fair, the 10,000 times I have been to Noho over the past 20 years, I have never been to Forbes. That is helpful. Maddie, my oldest will be fine. Mollie, my youngest I'm more concerned about. But we are looking forward to meet everyone. Anyone else have kids?
