Join Us For The Next WOWA Meeting & Critique Session, 7:00PM, First Thursday of Each Month at the Fairborn Community Center. Join our group and RSVP today!
ABOUT THE WOWA ...
Don't miss a chance to network with other writers and get insight into your own writing style as seen by your peers!
Writers are encouraged to bring a sample of their work to each meetup for review. Each month we will post a writing prompt and participants can write to the prompt or choose their own topics.
You can also bring samples of writing you are already working on.
The group will provide critiques, support, advice, and other constructive input.
If you have something that is more than 3 pages, please post it to the group for review prior to the meeting to save time.
We have a diverse group of writers including novelists, poets, journalists, screenwriters, and other creative minds. The more more input we get, the better our work will be so join now!
Remember that it doesn't work if you don't come so be sure to RSVP for the next meetup event as soon as you join the group! Members who miss 3 consecutive meetings will be removed from the group beginning July 1.

To All Members: Please note that the Western Ohio Writers Association is a private organization developed by GLD Enterprises Commercial Writing to encourage the success of local writers in the art and business of writing. The group is not a platform for the discussion of politics, religion, or other socially-volatile subjects. No political or religious propaganda may be distributed at any meeting or on the group message boards. We do not censor written works - Original writing may contain adult themes and language, or other content that could be offensive to some people. We remind everyone of the first amendment of the United States Constitution. Vulgarity for its own sake, however, will not be tolerated and has never been a problem within our group. We trust adults to behave as such.WOWA is not a union or trade organization and is not affiliated with the Writers Guild of America.
