Loved the conference. Does anyone have the link that Sally put up at the start of her talk to her slides? I missed it! Thanks

I really enjoyed the weekend, even though I only had the opportunity to attend a couple of lectures, it was great to meet so many interesting people.
The food was wonderful, too. Sonia and Vicky did a great job.

Hello there, I am a member of Weston A Price and have just joined this forum. I have booked a ticket for this weekend in Sandown Park but cannot find any confirmations in my inbox. is there anyone on this forum who is involved in the organisation of the event this weekend? I would be grateful for a contact name or number. Thank you

I think a new ticketing system is required. A number of people had that problem. Thank you for the feedback.

check out brown paper tickets.com - they support charities and not for profit and send tickets to mobiles and by post. Very good.

Wow, what an incredible weekend. I feel nourished, inspired and energised. Huge thanks and gratitude to Phil and his team for organising the conference. It was such an honour to meet Sally at last. And to talk with dr Natasha about raising chickens. And to attend a fermentation workshop with Maria T. I loved Philip Weeks talks. And wished there were more hours in the day to go to more lectures. It was wonderful to see so many familiar faces and to meet so many interesting people. The shopping was fantastic too, and I stocked up on good healthy things at great prices. And the food, the food....yum! Thank you to Sonia and her team for the delicious spread. I ate their gaps delights for breakfast lunch and dinner for two wonderful days, what a treat.

What a fantastic conference, great lectures, great stalls, amazing food, lovely people everywhere, really good energy all around. As a first time exhibitor of good-medicine-clinic.com. I thoroughly enjoyed it. Well done Philip, you should get a medal. You have no idea what you have given! I really found the chapter meeting very useful and hope to contribute to it. I will definitely be there next year. Dipika

I had a great day, met some fantastic people. But I had dressed for a prestige venue, expecting heating, not air-conditioning in winter – inside the Sandown Room seemed to be colder than outdoors! I thought the Cod Liver Oil lecturer was fantastic – and his take on fertiliser just blew me away!
Would have been 5 stars - but I had to leave early as I was just so cold.

    February 10, 2014

    • Philip R.

That is a shame. I would have had the venue put up the heating had I known. Note to self, when running around a venue, it feels warmer to you than to everybody else!

As a first time exhibitor I've been delighted with the interest and response; the exhibition was fascinating with a wonderful variety of displays, with much to be learned through talking with the exhibitors, all experts in their fields. Next time I'll bring an assistant, so I can enjoy the seminars too. Thanks to Philip and his team.

A big thank you to Philip for all the amazing amount of work he has put in to make the conference such a success. I have been coming to WAP conferences ever since the early days in Camden and it is wonderful to see the numbers increasing. Although I had heard the more standard talks from Sally and Natasha before that wasn’t a problem as there was always an alternative that I found it very worthwhile going to and I was absorbed in all the lectures and in what was offered on the stalls for the whole of Saturday and Sunday. A great improvement too in the catering.

    Thank you again!

Great speakers, lots going on, could have had a few more minutes to get from one event to another.

    February 9, 2014

  • Karen P.

I enjoyed the lectures but they were ones I'd heard before. I've heard both Sally and Chris give those same lectures on podcasts or elsewhere. They were very high quality, but I thought they would be new information. The venue and venders were high quality. I loved the food but found it to be a bit disorganized as the cashiers were overcharging until we pointed this out.

Hi yes hoping to attend to ,when tickets are available.I've been doing some of the things that they recommend,!leaf lard , I Went to a organic farm and got the leaf lard great big bits of fat from round the pigs kidneys and then render it down very easy to do, food taste so much better roast potatoes ,meat ,sauté veg.look up Sarah pope she shows how to do it ,it's just like what we use to have as a child and believe or not better for you than vegetable oils. Home made chips ,mmmm great. The global protest against Monsanto is still on October 12 I've not yet found out where all in UK as soon as I do I will let u know.

Hi Phillip when do with have to pay ? the money for the above and to whom,do we pay by cheque or can we do it over the phone.i'm off to see my MP this month about gmo's , shame you could've make it.

    May 30, 2013

    • Philip R.

Great to speak directly with MP's and other key decision makers. I prefer that to petitions. Regarding the costs, I am yet to put together the full programme, workshops and meal tickets. I anticipate tickets going for sale by September. This posting here is principally at this time so that people can pencil the date into their diary. Thank you for your interest!

      May 30, 2013

  • Carol.bird

How much will this cost to attend Philip.just to let you know l attended protest against gmo's in Nottingham wasn't many there l hope it wiil do some good ,it was a global march against Monsanto the turn out was brilliant , people need to wake up in the uk to get gmo's labelled or kicked out .lobby supermarkets and there MP's.

    May 29, 2013

    • Philip R.

Yes, there will be a cost. I will try to keep the price the same as 2012, but have to charge for food because the event made a loss last year and we will be able to provide larger food portions if we charge for food. Last time, full price was £85 for one day, £150 for two. Details to be released. Well done for going to the Monsanto marches. I feel bad about not sharing it here, so do get in touch to alert me next time and I'll share it!

      May 29, 2013
