Weston A Price Coram Fields (family friendly) meet up

You are invited to a social meetup at Coram Fields, London. All are welcome (adults with or without children). It says on the website that all adults need to be accompanied by a child. The limit for adult attendees is 30 and I spoke to a gentleman from Coram Fields who said there should be no more that 5 adults per child. (I will be keeping tabs of the ratios in the comment box to inform everyone how we are doing). Therefore it is essential that everyone who wants to attend RSPV's by 21st Nov (explaining if you are bringing children (and how many) or not, to make sure we do not go over that ratio.

We shall be meeting at the main entrance (outside gate) at 2pm. Please call me on[masked] if you have any problems finding it, or are going to be late and I can come and meet you :)

There is a cafe, but I think it would be nice if we brought our own food to eat for obvious reasons. There is some shelter too apparently, but bring an umbrella just incase.

Here is some blurb about the venue:

'
Coram's Fields is a unique seven acre playground and park for children and young people living in or visiting London. It includes a Youth Centre, Children's Centre, Community Nursery, Sports Programme, a city farm and a cafe which is open from March until October.

The park is open all year round from 9am until dusk and is free and open to children and young people under 16. No adult can enter Coram's Fields without a child and our friendly on-site staff ensure that everyone can enjoy their visit. You can find Coram's Fields in the heart of London between King's Cross and Holborn.'

Really great to meet you all! It felt good swapping food tips and discussing our choices, although I had been looking forward to meeting Philip Ridley to hear more of his experience healing lactose intolerance with raw milk - another time. Looking forward to next time, and thanks Lynne for organising the event.

Looking forward to meeting you too! Oh I must mention my husband is coming too! The RSVP only asked how many children I was bringing. Hope that's okay. Bringing food to share sounds wonderful! I'm Paleo these days in a bid to shrink my bottom lol, so it'll be lords of chicken and salady things :D

      November 18, 2013

    • Lynne

Oh your husband is very welcome hun. . .I don't know what is up with the rspv features (that they don't allow you to add guests). I will try and sort that out. . .Yes I will bring some food too. . .Looking forward to meeting you all xx

      November 18, 2013

  • Julie

I'll have two children with me, so space for 9 adults! We may be up to 30 mins late due to earlier commitments. Looking forward to meeting others and learning more about traditional foods.

Hi , can. People without kids attend this s well ?

    October 15, 2013

    • Lynne

Yes ofcourse; you are most welcome. We have a max limit of 30 adults and as long as there is a ratio of no more than 5 adults per child it will be fine. I will keep tabs and update everyone on how we are doing as far as ratio. Looking forward to meeting you.
