RAW MILK BREAKING NEWS ... The following Stop Press announcement appears on the latest 15 January 2013 weekly newsletter from pioneering dairy farmer Steve Hook of Hook and Son:

"There will be some big breaking news during this week. Can’t say too much at the moment, other than at the weekend, the Food Standards Agency served a summons on Steve to appear in court at Westminster in February to face charges of illegal selling of raw milk via a vending machine at Selfridges store in London."

The original can be viewed at: http://hookandson.co.uk/Newsletter/files/national-newsletter-15.01.pdf

This, hot off the heels of Steve going to Hollywood to promote The Moo Man, which we previewed at our 2011 conference:

Clearly, the timing of this does not bode well for the FSA's intentions regarding raw milk for their review which is on the way.
