Join Chef Josiah as he welcomes Michelin Star Chef Christophe Dufau.
This autumn, for two nights only, guests will have the opportunity to experience the inspiration and culinary creativity of visiting Chef Christophe Dufau as he collaborates with Chef Josiah to create special courses on the Melisse menu.
A native of Provence, France, Dufau's childhood mirrors that of Chef Josiah. Both men were inspired early on in the kitchen by their mothers and grandmothers. The similarity in culinary philosophy extends to their respect for and sourcing of fresh produce and the highest quality ingredients. Together, Chef Josiah and Chef Christophe will explore the Santa Monica Farmers Market and exchange ideas and concepts to create special menu items that are reflective of their talent and sensibility.
While I don't have all of the details, yet, Melisse usually has a 10-course chef's menu starting at $150, not including wine pairings and supplements. If this menu is available, then this is what we will be doing. That means everyone signing up is committing to the chef's menu. I will update this meetup as details become available.
