This is a great Italian restaurant that I often frequent. They have a great party room that will work well for us, and they are excited to host our wine group. They will put together some nice antipasti platters for us and pick some really nice wines to go with them...all Italian of course! As usual, you are welcome to stay after and order more of anything if you are interested, or, just come out for apps and wine for the event.
Here is a little Italian lesson for you:
Antipasto (plural antipasti) means "before the meal" and is the traditional first course of a formal Italian meal. Traditional antipasto includes cured meats, olives, peperoncini, mushrooms, anchovies, artichoke hearts, various cheeses (such as provolone or mozzarella), pickled meats and vegetables (both in oil or in vinegar).
