Wine 101

After last weeks blind tasting I think we could use a little education...

This will cover the basics of wine tasting. We will learn how to identify the key components of a wine, how to score a wine like the experts, the proper temperatures to serve wine and how to identify the style of a wine that is most appealing to your palate...

oh and, as usual, we will  be tasting 8 great wines

The cost will be $20  which covers the 8 wines + some snacks as usual (please pay at the register before you come to the back classroom.

* You know that Chad, the wine manager at Total Wine, always upgrades our wine selection because he likes our group...please don't ruin our reputation there by canceling last minute or being a no-show!

*We will also be repeating this meetup shortly so that everyone has a chance to get in. If you attend this event, please do not respond to the second one when I post it...Thanks

Just a reminder...because we are a good reliable group...Chad at Total Wine always has some snacks for us (cheeses, meats, bread, etc.)

I have to cancel, as my mom is in desperate need of a night off from taking care of my bad-patient-crabby ass-no compliant post-op dad tomorrow, and I am on deck. Since there is still a wait list, I hope someone else enjoys the event for me.
