Hi everyone, just reminding you all about our Event this Thursday, April 25th.
I am very excited about this event!! This will be our biggest Meetup yet...I am looking forward to seeing how big this one will be. On that note, Once again: Please take your rsvp's seriously! These are friends of mine and they are doing a special event for our group! I will be giving them a final head count Monday night so please make sure your rsvp is accurate. We have quite a few new members coming out to this event, so to make sure everyone understands, no-shows are not tolerated in this club. Late cancelations are also considered no-shows, so make sure your rsvp is correct and please do not cancel a day or two before. This is why I send out reminders...so that we do not have problems with the event. This is a very large group and the University Club of Phoenix is doing this as a favor to me. They are hiring extra staff and purchasing extra food just for our group. If you have to change your rsvp, that is fine...just do it now instead of a day or two before the event.
As for the event itself:
this is a tasting but an informal one. Dress as nice or as casual as you would like...no dress code. It will be outdoors but the weather should be beautiful this week. Even though it will be warm, remember to bring something with you in case it gets cooler in the evening.
We will have the entire area just for our group and it is a very pretty back courtyard. Plenty of seating and room for our large group.. and perfect for getting up and mingling with each other. I am looking forward to seeing everyone and getting to know some of our new members. This is a rare meetup for our group in that we don't have a cap on the amount of attendees. So, if you have not rsvp'd yet, there is still room and time to get in. Let's make this a big party.
If you are a newer member this is a good event to come to because it is a good opportunity to meet a large number of members at one time. We are a very relaxed and friendly group.
See you all Thursday,
