Hey gang were paddling to the famous Moses Hole located just off the Southeastern corner of the Skyway Bridge. I've been paddling over 13 years and have always wanted to paddle this section of Tampa Bay and in particular "Moses Hole"
Details: We'll put -in near Bishops Harbor located just off US 41 and the South end of Tampa Bay, and paddle through mangrove trails to explore Moses Hole. (A circular lagoon paradise surrounded by mangroves.) We'll eat lunch in Moses Hole and then we'll ease through a mangrove tunnel towards the Bay and turn east and paddle towards Hell's Half Acre as we wind our way back to Bishops Harbor for a awesome half day paddle trip. After the trip we'll drive to Woody's River Roo Restaurant or Billy's Stone Crab for a cold one or two.
Trip difficulty: Beginner and up. Trip is approx 4.5 miles
Cost: FREE with own kayak. $45 with kayak rental.
Bring: Water, lunch, sunscreen, hat, water shoes or strap on sandals, money for Woody's River Roo Restaurant.
