  • Hey Wet Dogs what's a better way to go to dinner then "Paddle to Dinner".  In the past this has been a popular event especially on a full moon.  This is the reschedule of the Full Moon Paddle to Dinner that was canceled on Jan 15th due to weather and winds.

What: Join us as we launch from Craig Park, in Tarpon Springs and paddle across Spring Bayou to the famous Sponge Docks.  Our new Sponsor Suncoast Rentals and Tours (which Wet Dog Adventures will be operating the paddle sports part) is located on the docks will be our take out location. Approx 4 miles round trip paddle.

From  we'll walk a short distance to a restaurant on the docks for a delicious dinner and fellowship.

Cost:  $30 of renting a kayak ( $15 if a Wet Dog Supporter) FREE if bringing your own kayak

Bring:  Lights, water, money for dinner, appropriate paddling clothing.

Same here. Although it sounds fun, due to the weather and being new, I think I will pass tonight. Looking forward to meeting everyone next time!

I would love to do this but I'm new and a beginner so...maybe I will wait but I am curious...can someone tell me what type of lights one should bring? And what exactly is appropriate paddling clothing? And would there still be kayaks available at this late stage?

a light that shines 360 degrees is best, but any flash light is fine if you put it in a baggy. Lights that go on your head for camping are often used. Light clothing, but dress for the weather expected, no jeans or heavy cottons because when they get a little wet they stay wet. Yep, we should have something available.

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
