Description: Sangria at Sunset ... it's just like it sounds. This is easily one of our more popular and requested trips.  Join us for a paddle to a nearby inter-coastal Island paradise for fun and libations. We'll paddle out 45 min and arrive at a sandy piece of land where we'll set up a small table for food and spirits. We'll partake in Sangria and watch the beautiful South Florida Sunsets, build a fire, and roast hot dogs and brats.  For an appetizer we'll gorge on the famous Ted Peters fish spread and crackers.  Join in the fun and hangout and make new friends. Trip last anywhere from three to four hours depending on group.   This night is Tarpon Springs " Night in the Islands" celebration so we'll get back and be able to partake in the celebration on the docks afterward.  Beginner and up paddle - approx 4 miles.

Great seeing you again Betty Ann. Oh yes I forgot to write about the humongous barge up our backside on the paddle back. Get out of the channel!

Great paddle to a salty piece of land with some salty Wet Dogs. Saw a rainbow on the way down the river. Everyone enjoyed a sunset toast, fish spread, and brats by the fire. On the way back we enjoyed a lightning show in the far distance.

Ave, great to meet you last night. Thanks very much for staying afterwards to help with loading boats. True Wet Dog spirit you have there.

Hi Mike! I'd love to go even though the snowbird Earl is in Michigan, but it's further than I want to come home alone at night!! Miss you.

It's a hot one, but I'm 'lucky' enough to spend most of my time in an air conditioned office...ha! Looking forward to a paddle with y'all soon.

Not to be a party pooper, but my husband and I don't eat meat and don't drink. The trip sounds great though and I've been wanting to kayak that area. Do you offer a price for just a ride along?

    • Carolina M.

Hey Sara, we can get some veggie dogs if you would require those. Sure we can adjust the cost some. Are you needing a kayak or SUP?

Hey Mike! I would love a veggie dog! I did not think to ask. I had a great time at the last Sunset Sangria. Looking forward to this one,
