The H2O Lucky Duck Race is presented by Magic Beans Village and Safety Harbor Museum of Regional History, both charitable/non-profit organizations. Proceed to go to help support these two fine organizations.

Only $10 to adopt a duck. Band, Beer and Wine, Vendors. and Children s Educational Area and more at the Safety Harbor Marina.
Official rules and regulations and how to adopt a duck are on this site here:

Winners of the guaranteed cash prizes will be determined based on the first 8 (eight) qualifying ducks to sequentially finish the race and be gathered in the duck trap.

This first ever duck race in Pinellas County is your chance to win guaranteed money. There is a predetermined number drawn and sealed in an envelope.
The first two ducks have the chance at the Million Dollars. About a 1 in 3,000 chance to win it big and support two great organizations.

We are proud to announce that Wet Dog Adventures and Carolina Mike's Kayaking were chosen as sponsors for this event from the event organizers.

We will be providing the kayak support on the water for this event and need help from our Wet Dog members.

We need at least 6 volunteers to watch and follow the ducks in this race.
We also need a five or more kayaks to catch the ducks at the end of the race. All told the kayaks will be on the water for an hour or so depending on how fast the race goes. Tides, wind and weather will determine race length.

Kayak volunteer meeting time
- Safety and rules meeting for volunteers is 1:45 PM. Kayaks in the water at 2 pm. There is a chance that we may have to meet at Coopers Bayou due to traffic so check in with Carolina Mike at[masked] for any updates or questions Please pre-RSVP before the event if volunteering or just attending. You do not need a kayak, but must have good kayak experience to be a kayak support volunteer. No beginners for this event due to the possibility of getting in the way of the ducks. They want experienced kayakers and that's why they chose us to support this event.
