Kayak Party last night.

Hey Wet Dog,

This is and update on last nights Holiday Paddle Party and 1st Kayak Raffle. The tribe of Wet Doggers had a great time decorating their kayaks and the rentals kayaks for a festive paddle at night. From the start we were treated to an amazing sunset as the large armada paddled to Coopers Bayou. Many were thrilled to discover and maneuver the mangrove trail which brought the group through a tight opening and meandered out under a footpath bridge to open water. The paddle back to the Marina was against the tide, but the group managed to get back to the marina where more Wet Doggers awaited for the party.

We all gorged on delicious food and libations and enjoyed getting to mingle before doing the Kayak Raffle. Congratulations to Sue (Ben's wife) on winning the brand new Necky Manitou Sea Kayak. I guess their Christmas has started early. Five other prizes were given out including a salt water fishing rod and reel, camp light, kayak fishbone jewelry, and kayaking art prints. Wet Dog also displayed its 3 new kayaking t-shirts called "Paddle Till You Pant", "Dog Gone Paddling" and "Paddle or Die" If you want to see the new designs just email us at [address removed] and we'll personally email you the design.

To close the night we all enjoyed the Dirty Santa gift exchange with much laughter and good nature. This has been our best Holiday Paddle and Party do date so a big thanks to all those who were able to participate.

May you all have a happy holiday season and we'll see you in 2011.

Carolina Mike and the Wet Dog crew!
