I researched bike rentals for our paddle, peddle & pub trip on Sunday. I now have to rent a bike also as mine was stolen, so here are a few places that rent bikes that I was going to call.
Energy Conservatory Bike Shop - energybicycle.com 745 Main St, Dunedin - (727)[masked] Directions and more ?
This place opens at 11am on Sunday. So you could Rent a bike on Saturday, but they close at 4pm on Sunday. It's $15 for a 24 hr rental so if you kept it longer it would be $30. We should be done near 3pm or so on Sunday really kinda depends how long we stay at the pubs I guess. The plan is:
Kayak Coopers Bayou 9-11 am Spa for lunch 11:30 - 12:30 Phillipee Park 12:30- 1:30 pm back to Safety Harbor's pubs Green Springs, Whistle Stop, Taste Cafe (Kayaking Art Show is located here) and or Heather's Place. One beer per place.
Pinellas Trail Bike Rentals - maps.google.com 357 Scotland St, Dunedin - (727)[masked] Directions and more ?
I called this place and they are open on Wednesday morning so give them a call then.
This group is for the fitness minded or the casual to avid outdoorsy person. Those who are new to Tampa Bay will find this is the right meetup to discover Florida and meet new friends. We are also the oldest meetup in Tampa Bay.
In addition we believe the journey is the destination and we facilitate the experience. Our guides have much experience leading groups and know how to manage a trip and still not ruin the natural flow and fun that happens. We don't leave anyone behind.
We're eco friendly, stress safety first, and occasionally we will have kayak cleanups of bayous or inter-coastal waterways. We provide the kayaks for these cleanups at no cost. It is part of our job to help keep the water we paddle clean and safe.
We strongly believe in
"LEAVE NO TRACE" "Take only pictures, leave only footprints and memories.
