Hi, Vicky.

Any ol' light will do. If you get a cheap one, you won't lose much when salt water corrodes it. I've been on nighttime paddles with Carolina Mike before and that's the advice he's given me.

I'm not going to this one, but I'll be at the full moon paddle to Ozona Blue Grilling Company next month. C.M. didn't post that one to Meetup.com. Check his website http://www.carolinamike.com for that one or get on his mailing list.

Hope to See You There,

Wes Calhoun

Do we just need a flashlight or a naviagation light for a boat?

Hey gang,

We're getting excited about Wednesday's first meetup. Hope you are too! We look forward to meeting all these new friends and sharing our love for the sport of kayaking. I promise to be an active group with fitness and fun in mind.

I would personally like to thank all those who signed up for this event and for signing up to be a member. We have been doing Kayak 4 Fitness for sometime, but the meetups have allowed us to grow to a wider audience. It is always more fun to work out with friends.

The marina is easy to find. Sunset Point Rd turns into Main Street and dead ends into the spa. Turn right and you'll see the marina is on the left. Or if your driving from Tampa you can head north on Bayshore Blvd off the Courtney Cambell and you'll see it on the right a couple miles up.

Remember to bring your light and water. You'll want to wear some water shoes that will provide protection for your feet. No flip-flops please.

Thanks for participating and we'll see out on the water,

Carolina Mike
