Anyone interested in doing a scalloping/snorkel rendezvous?

Ken, thanks for the info, I know that there are commercial boats that one can take to scallop from Homosassa, crystal river and a few other places...perhaps one should take one of those first before embarking on a "self tour"...I just might do that July 1!!! Then we can plan a group outing for a future date? The limit is very must do it for the sheer fun of chasing these delicious beguiling mollusks. :)

Hey group, I don't know how to plan for more than 1 pontoon boat so Ive left the group meetup planning up to Carolina Mike for a tentative date of aug 25. This is an excursion I've been so looking forward to, see you all then!

Hey all you Wet Dogs interested in scalloping! If you haven't done this yet...its loads of fun! Rented a pontoon yesterday from Homosassa along with 6 of the nicest wet dogs ..was a perfect excuse to be on/in the water all day long. Like an Easter egg hunt! Let's do it again this season!

Ok! When does the season end? Did you get a lot of scallops? Is it easy?

Never been scalloping but been in Florida most of my life - go figure. Would love to get in on this.

Can't be that hard - other chasing scurrying scallops.
