This group is for the fitness minded or the casual to avid outdoorsy person. Those who are new to Tampa Bay will find this is the right meetup to discover Florida and meet new friends.

In addition we believe the journey is the destination and we facilitate the experience. Our guides have much experience leading groups and know how to manage a trip and still not ruin the natural flow and fun that happens. If someone flips their kayak or has problems we can assist quickly and get them up and paddling. We don't leave anyone behind. Our guides  have guided over 600 paddle, hiking and biking trips. In addition we're very versed and experienced in having fun, camping, hiking, climbing, and with years of training in facilitating large groups. That's why we started this group.

We're eco friendly and occasionally we will have kayak cleanups of bayous or inter-coastal waterways or adopt a shore type of cleanups. We may latch onto and promote other clean up associations. We usually provide the kayaks for these cleanups at no cost. It is part of our job to help keep the water we paddle clean and safe. We are currently applying for an Adopt a Shore somewhere in Pinellas County.

ON ALL TRIPS AND EVENTS it is your responsibility to call our hotline number to see if the trip is canceled due to weather or otherwise. If running late or any questions please call us. Sometimes we have to cancel a trip the day of the meetup, and we don't have your phone number, unless you have paid for the trip by Paypal, and even then sometimes we can't reach you. MOST TRIPS ARE FREE W/ YOUR OWN KAYAK unless there is food or drink fee involved.  Kayak rentals are available at a discount on all trips if you rsvp in time.  Invite a friend on a trip and they'll thank you.
