You'll get invited to our Meetups as soon as they're scheduled!
We The People Of Texas is an organization founded in Montgomery County, Texas. Our organization formed out of the inspiration of the 9 Principles of limited government and 12 Values that are fundamental to maintaining the strong fabric of the American way, as originally presented by Radio and TV commentator Glenn Beck. While there are other regional groups and communities around the Houston area, and across the USA, which have also developed out of the same 9-12 inspiration, We The People of Texas is an independent and self-directed organization. We The People Of Texas intends to work alongside like-minded groups, but is not controlled by them. Our autonomy is declared so that members of this organization have a clear comprehension of its leadership. We want our participants to have confidence that the objectives of this group can be achieved through the sole efforts of its leaders, assistant organizers, and the mighty participation of its membership. No outside influence is to hamper or hinder We The People Of Texas from the noble effort of reclaiming our government at the municipal, state, and federal levels, and to return it to being again a government for the people, by the people.
We The People of Texas believe in these 9 principles and 12 values that our nation was founded upon and are committed to defending the Constitution of the United States. Through unity, education, and action we will take back the reins from the government and bring our country back to these principles and values.
9 PRINCIPLES
1. America is good.
2. I believe in God and He is the center of my life.
3. I must always try to be a more honest person than I was yesterday.
4. The family is sacred. Parents are the ultimate authority, not the government.
5. If you break the law you pay the penalty. Justice is blind and no one is above the law.
6. I have a right to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness, but there is no guarantee of equal results.
7. I work hard for what I have and I will share it with who I want to. Government cannot force me to be
charitable.
8. It is not un-American for me to disagree with authority or to share my personal opinion.
9. The government works for me. I do not answer to them, they answer to me.
12 VALUES
1. Honesty
2. Reverence
3. Hope
4. Thrift
5. Humility
6. Charity
7. Sincerity
8. Moderation
9. Hard Work
10. Courage
11. Personal Responsibility
12. Friendship
