My interests are many. I have been experimenting with fermentation after reading the book "Wild Fermentation". Have worked with kombucha, sour dough, kefir. Would like to try sauerkraut, kimchee. I also purchased a food dehydrator and would be interested in talking with others who have had experience with food dehydration. I'm also interested in developing and stocking a staples food pantry .... storing, etc.
Not sure at this point.
I am part of the initiating group of Transition Newburyport and one of our missions is promoting, supporting and strengthening our local food system. I am also involved in the Newburyport area Edible Food Gardening group.
I would definitely recommend this group. It's a bit far for me to travel, but if I lived closer I would be more active. An interesting and fun blend of people.
