Stress Management Techniques for Anxiety
6:30-7:30 PM with Emilia Sabatowska, LMHC
This 8-week stress management group is designed for adults who may be experiencing difficulties handling worry, anxiety and stress. We will focus on practicing the stress reduction techniques of deep relaxation, mindfulness, and cognitive restructuring. These techniques will help you to reduce the damaging effects of stress on your mind and body to regain a sense of calm and well being. Each session will consist of a 30 minute guided relaxation exercise as well as a group discussion.
