Announcing a new Meetup for Why Leave Astoria?!!

What: 3rd Annual WLA Beerlympics

When: Saturday, October 2,[masked]:00 PM

Price: $25.00 per person

Where: Canz Roadhouse
[masked]th Ave.
Astoria, NY 11103

The Beerlympic Games have a long and storied history that dates back to the year two-thousand-eight. On a warm summer afternoon in Astoria, NY, dozens of athletes converged in a tiny garden of beer to build the foundation for what has become the largest gathering of athletes for participation in beer-related games in the galaxy.

Now, in what has become an annual-ish tradition, some of the world's most skilled athletes in the sports of flip cup, beer pong, and even the fabled dizzy bat, will join us again on Saturday, October 2nd at NOON for the latest and largest Games yet.

Register with a team ($25) or as an individual athlete ($35) and be randomly paired up with other enthusiastic renegades, but please note pre-registration is required. The Games will sell out and we will turn people away at the door. Sad, but true.
