hiking chapin forest

As per always on our hikes, all welcome, dogs on leashes especially, we regroup periodically and leave no vertebrates behind. Lunch/brunch afterwards.

Pace around 3 mph, distance maybe 5 miles, mostly flat terrain with two hills and all on well-maintained trail. Good fall colors nearly guaranteed.

From I-90, take exit 193 (SR-306). Drive south on SR-306 to Chardon Road and turn right. Take Chardon Road to Hobart Road, the second street on the right. Turn onto Hobart Road; the park entrance is just ahead on the right. Gary leading.

Very little steep grade so for hikers that are just starting or just getting back into it like me was ideal.

Great day for a hike- we meandered up around over and through Chapin. In some places the leaves were so brilliant it was like walking through a painting....
