7:00- 8:00 Speaker John Debo from the Conservancy for the Cuyahoga Valley National Park.
Mr. Debo began work with the National Park Service (NPS) at Acadia National Park in 1976. He served for 21 years as Superintendent of Cuyahoga Valley National Park, from 1988 to 2009. During his tenure as superintendent he worked closely with other agency to create the towpath as we know it today in the National Park. He has fascinating stories about his time as the superintendent of the park that he will be sharing with us. Currently, Mr. Debo is Chief Development Officer for the Conservancy for Cuyahoga Valley National Park where he raises funds for projects in support of the mission of Cuyahoga Valley National Park. He we will talk to the group about ways we as individuals and as a group can support the park. He is particularly interested in the clubs input on staging an annual biking event in the park to benefit the conservancy.
