Celebrate 2014 with us at our New Year's Eve open mic and jam. Everyone is welcome to do a set of songs of your choice. We will determine how many songs each based on the number of RSVP's. If there's a low turnout, we may just make it a Jam. An acoustic amp and microphone will be provided if you'd like to use it.  Please bring your beverage of choice and a dish to share with the group. Food and soft drinks will be provided.

I'd love to see the pics as well. Can you please post them, Marc?

Hey marc, do you plan on posting pictures on here from the New Years Eve jam? If not, could you email them to me. I'd like to save a couple of them if you don't mind. Thanks!

Scott and I really enjoyed ourselves last night. Thanks Glenn and Jeannie for the great idea of having us all over and for being great hosts as usual! We're looking forward to the next get together.

I actually witnessed the shadow on the floor that Marc tripped over causing him to fall into the wall. I don't think his consuming mass quantities of adult beverages had anything to do with it. The amazing part was that he actually finished his open mic performance at all.. What a fun time.I hope the upcoming snow forecast won't cause a cancellation of his jam.

Great time last night/early evening and a rockin' way to bring in 2014. Thanks to Glenn & Jeannie for the super hospitality and I had fun hanging with the WAGers'. Please post any humorous details on Marc and Glenn's hangovers ;)

Had a great time, Thanks Glen and Jeannie for the hospitality and for putting on such a fun event. First time I've been anywhere on NYeve in years and i can't think of any group of folks I'd rather spend it with.

John...I see you moved from music to practicing your stand up routine! A man of many talents.

Ok, we're bringing "Buffalo Ranch Chicken Dip" and triscuits. It's pretty substantial and more than a dip. We eat it as a meal sometimes on a Friday night. That's on the Fridays that we don't want to wait in line at the mission. We only go to the mission when it's been a slow day standing on the xpressway with our "we don't rob or steal..." signs.

That sounds great, Joe. What's a Bieber bun john?

I have no clue Glenn. Just with my profile (silly ass) picture... Which I've tired of and will be changing soon.

OK, looks like a good turn out. We'll start with open mic 3 song sets and jam the later part of the evening, so remember to bring some jam songs as well as your set songs.

I still haven't decided what food to bring. Maybe my Bieber buns?

Well if you are going to get them at that bakery down on the boulevard, be sure to get there before 9 so there will be no line!

My wife makes a delicious crab dip which I will bring, along with some dipping crackers and chips.

I just got confirmation from Karen that she can come so I am in! And excited.

Skip, tempt you may. But the decision may not be mine. She is the one who has to get up early. And, unfortunately, I'm allergic to no food product and I like all of them more than I should. Now I have to decide what food to bring.

Hey John, maybe I can tempt you to stay a bit longer just to sample my homemade honey glazed shrimp salad that I'm bringing (unless you're allergic to seafood). Plus I've been practicing much of the "Rubber Soul" album on bass and in need of a good singer like you to help me out.

I'm a tentative "yes" for New Year's Eve. Megan has to work the next day so I'm thinking that leaving around 11:15 could make it work. I'll update as we get closer. But I would like to be there.

Glenn, I'm sure if weather permits, the turnout of music lovers would be significant. Maybe the enthusiasm of Murielle's unfortunate snow cancelled open mic will carry over to your event. I'm already gathering songs and changing strings for a really great time once again. Hope to see more our fellow musicians show up as well.

Like your enthusiasm Skip. I'm hoping for a nice turnout as well.
