Adding Social to your Application with Neo4j

  • August 27, 2012 · 6:00 PM

Session one from 6-6:45 will be an introduction to Cypher followed by 15 minutes of questions about graphs in general or your current graph projects, then we'll start from 7 to 7:45 with Session Two on Adding Social to your application.

Beginner Track

It doesn't matter if you are working on Neo4j in Ruby, Java, Python, Clojure or Javascript.  Chances are you'll want to make use of the Neo4j Query language "Cypher".

We'll go through the language, from simple queries to complex and see how crazy we can make them.

Advanced Track

I'll show you how to hook up to one of the social networks (facebook, twitter, linkedin) and import profiles and relationships in to your graph.

Great overview talk. I am now actively looking for a project to use cypher/neo4j!

I really want to be there. But I am in California. Any chance someone could open facetime and aim their laptop at Max? Seriously.
