In The Shadow of Mt. Kilimanjaro!

Windy City Explorer Betsy Byrd has been a long time and valuable member of our group, attending over a dozen events. Last Spring Betsy departed for Africa with the goal of personally having an impact of lives in need. She's been living in the shadow of Mt. Kilamanjaro, eight thousand miles from home, doing what most of us can only dream of!  She has temporarily returned to us now with information about her adventure and to seek support for an important mission.

Betsy is the "real deal", doing what most people just dream about. She's a personal inspiration to me and a role model for many men and women who aspire to make a difference in the world.  This event will give you the opportunity to learn, share with and support Betsy in her work.

Please join us Thursday evening to hear first-hand from Betsy and to support the important work she carries on with Good Hope Support Organization in Moshi, Tanzania!  The suggested donation for this event is $15.00 at the door.

Please download Betsy's Event Flyer at this link and invite your friends!

Thank you Bruce. The venue is at 213 N. Morgan St.. If you and everyone click on map it gives the right directions.
Hello I'm Betsy, the host for this event, I'm asking , I'm encouraging you all to please come out and support this very worthy Tanzanian NGO. To Support Good Hope is to support a community. The co-founders are so dedicated to their cause they have not earned a single shilling in 2 years. But this fundraiser is not about paying them; its about supporting the work they do for the community they service - Majengo, Moshi, Tanzania.
Thank you and I hope to see you all this Thursday Sept. 12 at Green Home Chicago Design Center at 213 N. Morgan.

Footnote - our great Windy City Explore leader, Tom, will be the MC for the evening.
    Asante Sana!!!

The flyer lists the address as 213 W Morgan. Don't be fooled. Morgan goes north and south.
