Announcing a new Meetup for Windy City Explorers!

What: Old Town Triangle

When: August 29,[masked]:00 AM

Sedgwick & North Ave.
1600 N Sedgwick St.
Chicago, IL 60614

Joe Steffen will be leading a 2.4 mile walk through the Old Town Triangle neighborhood, which has wood frame houses built right after the Chicago fire, intermingled with newer brick and stone houses and apartment buildings, including some architecturally interesting houses built in the 1970s just before part of the neighborhood became a Chicago Landmark District. We will follow this route:
Afterwards, there are also many things to see in nearby Lincoln Park including the zoo, gardens, tropical conservatory, lily pond, and the live butterfly room in the nature center.

Directions: Take the CTA Brown Line to Sedgwick and walk 1/2 block north to North Ave.
If you arrive after we have departed, call Joe's cell phone[masked] to find out where we are.

Email Joe with any questions about this walk.
Check this website about an hour before the walk for possible weather cancellation.
