This wine & food festival is an annual Houston tradition organized by the French American Chamber of Commerce It is dedicated to celebrate France’s nation-wide Beaujolais festival, which allows one to discover the delicate flavors of the Beaujolais wine.
In France, the Beaujolais Nouveau Day is celebrated the 3rd Thursday of November. The term Beaujolais refers to the wine-growing region north of Lyon. The Beaujolais wine is a vin de primeur, which means that the wine is released only 6 to 8 weeks after the grapes have been harvested.
During the F.A.C.C. Annual Wine and Food Festival, a fine selection of French and American, red and white, wines accompanied with samplings from Houston’s finest restaurants is presented to the guests. Moreover, the F.A.C.C provides its guests with entertainment and different activities that transports them to a glamorous night in France.
