Brenner's Wine Fest

Each year Brenners on the Bayou (old location of the Rainbow Lodge...beautiful) holds a wine festival that is quite spectacular. See details http://www.brennersfest.com/
This is not a meetup per se in that each person can come and go as they please however you can use the message board to post the times and try and coordinate with fellow members. Tickets can be purchased on line and are for $65 (well worth it in my opinion)

As someone stated earlier, this event was well worth the price. The food was fantastic but some of the wines were not to my liking. All great being outdoors with those that showed. I also met some new people. The crowd was friendly and courteous.....service was exceptional. A place to see and be seen. I heard from the staff that they also do a Beer Fest in October.

Though the Meetup group turnout was a little light, the event drew a huge crowd. The rain held off, and the cool, overcast day made for perfect festival conditions. Wine sample selections were varied, and the food was very good. For those who passed, ya'shoulda been there!

The cool weather with a breeze, great band, wine, food and friends. I had a great day.

Fabulous food! Wine was not bad but the company and no rain made it a wonderful day. Will certainly want to do this again next year.

I noticed the default message that said you can buy them on-site at the Kemah Boardwalk. That can't be right ... can it?

Just called them to confirm - tickets are $75 and you can still buy them.

Does it end at 6:00 - and then you can stay longer if you want??

Hi I thought the same thing - wanted to hang out there, maybe grab some dinner - but they are closing right after the tasting at 6pm.

I would really like to go if there was a possibility of meeting up with some of you. I know Deeanna said "coming and going." Btw, if you have a Landrys card you can at least add to points--don't know if you can pay with them.

I went last year. It is fabulous if the weather is gorgeous. LOTS of people.

Deanna, is there a place that the group will meet?

    March 30, 2014

  • Jack

I have never attended this event but looking forward to attending as Brenner's on the B is one of my favorites. I am a LSC member and plan on beating the crowd and getting there for entry at 2:30 PM. I have also purchased an on-site valet parking if others want to hook up somewhere to drive in together. I live on the west side in the Energy Cooridor.

Attended this in 2010 when they contrasted the French wines with the similar American one at each station. What a fun event!

Trying to decide on what type of ticket. Anyone ever gone with a VIP ticket?
