I've already done two Halloween parties, (you can see the Friday night Halloween photos at my place here, http://wine.meetup.co... ), so for tonight I just want to chill, play some cash game $60-$100 buy-in poker, drink some wine and have some pizza.

This is a last minute game co-listed with the Santa Monica WLA Wine & Poker Group, http://wine.meetup.co... and Los Angeles Poker Group, http://poker.meetup.c... . You can check both sites to get an idea of who is coming.

HALLOWEEN COSUMES ARE OPTIONAL. I have one but I'm 50/50 as to putting it on again. I'm guessing others will or won't. Either way is good.

I have new custome poker tables made by Curtis Roll, Italian plastic playing cards by Modiano and new poker chips. Think of it as a "soft" opening of the Bel Air Barrio Cassino; (BC for short).

BYO wine (maybe save $5), Gourmet Pizza (maybe), Semi Serious**** cash poker Game in Bel Air.

In Michael's continuing effort to mix alcohol, poker and food we are going to Bel Air* for more of the same. Arrive anytime after 7:00 PM, cards in the air about 7:30ish and/or when five people say they want to start playing, game ends around 11:30ish. Some of us will again order Pizza from the highly rated, (& very popular at the last game), Fabrocini restaurant in Bel Air; or maybe we will vote to pick someplace else. (Pizza is optional.) This time Michael is going to formally "semi"open the bar, which means there will be a limited selection of vodka, rum, whiskey, something sweet and, (if Darrell shows up), scotch on the bar**. Or you can BYO wine &; shave $5 off the $6 suggested donation to encourage the wino's; (nothing close to two buck chuck allowed). There will also be bottled water, regular &; diet coke, regular & diet red bull and a selection of other "mystery" beers & sodas left over from other parties. If you want anything else, bring it.

The game will be the usual no limit hold'em cash game with a $60-$100 buy in with $1 & $2 blinds (higher than usual for some)& unlimited re-buys using Hollywood Park rules of 150% re-buys if you zero out .

There will be no beginner training for this event.

$6 for host/organizer provided "stuff". (Don"t tell Michael's accountant he "semi" opened the bar.)

$5-10 for pizza depending on where we decide to get it.

No smoking anywhere near the property. Its semi-legal*** on the sidewalk out front. Just run around the block a few times to air out afterward.

If you have any questions contact Michael; Darrell is way to busy planning fun stuff for us all.

* Don't be too impressed by the address. We were calling it the Bel Air Barrio but people keep getting lost/could not mapquest it. The rich folks live at the bottom of the hill.

** The "semi" open bar is not top top shelf but not anywhere close to plain wrap either and is limited to what's sitting in the "designated" area on the bar. No rummaging around in Michael's stash of good stuff or you will wind up in the pool with the smokers.

*** We were threatening to shoot smokers on site anywhere near the house but someone pointed out that shooting them might be illegal in some "un-enlighted" municipalities. Accordingly, smokers caught anywhere near the house will most likely be feed to the pool sharks unless we come up with a more amusing idea.

****Michael skimmed a book & thinks he knows how to play so he's stepped the game up to a $60+$6 first buy in and then unlimited $60-$90 re-buys after that. Up to $60 if your down to $30 and up to $90 if you "bust out"/are down to $0.****

The is last minute so the address is already posted.
