Greetings,

The theme this time is: labels with animals. If you can't find animals, you can use plants. If not plants, then fungi. Which reminds me of a joke.

A mushrooms goes into a bar and asks for a drink. The bartender says "go away. We don't serve you here." The mushroom protests and says, "what's the problem? I'm a fun guy!"

We have not yet set the location. But the date is set.

Don't, for the love of all that is good and holy, choose Yellowtail. Please. For the sake of whatever God you do or don't believe in. Show some respect for the grape.

Some suggestions:

Stag's Leap.

Frog's Leap.

Screaming Eagle.

More to come.

Please expect to spend at least $10 on the appetizers plus $15-20 for a bottle of wine. You should consider buying a bottle together with someone for $30-40 (or with another person, $45-60).

Leslie, this is the WESTCHESTER Wine Meetup. I have been attending from Stamford for years. Best to get off Rt 287 early and take Bryant Ave. Not a bad drive. Anna Lisa's Fairfield Wine Meetup is for CT.
