Westchester Wine April Meeting

  • This location is shown only to members

It's Italian Wine. Reds and Whites. Even prosecco.

We'll have at least 15 wines of very high quality to compare.

So you don't need to bring a wine. Space, however, is limited to 50 people. Please don't no show or cancel last minute.

American Express has a greed to sponsor this meeting.

Please RSVP with what you will bring for an appetizer. We deeply encourage people to bring some dish to go along with the wines. Of which there will be a variety. Bringing a dish merits rewards of praise and good karma will be bestowed.

No charge for event, but there is a donation basket for the Sexton who cleans up.

Pleasant evening - big turnout ("free wines!") - nice to see some familiar faces - prefer outside, but I understand it's still early in the season - some excellent wines (I actually took notes!) - Thank you, Ameriprise!

I liked Ned's lesson. Though toward the end there was more socializing and less listening, I tried to pay attention. I want to learn as much as I can about wine.

Next time I'll remember to bring matches and my camera ;-)

It was my first event with the group. I was impressed with how organized it was and how generous all of the members were with bringing various snacks to share. My friend had a nice time as well, and I am sure he will now join the group. See you at the next one!

It would have been beneficial to have a list of the wines and a check off of the type/ taste of the wine so that we could remember the wines we wanted to. The social aspect of the wine tasting was fun as there are a lot of nice, interesting people.

Lectures are Great, Shorten Lecture time, or let people taste open like other meetings (maybee) three wines at a time) then do a summation lection. All and all good, (I'm just a little jaded) Suggestion for future Tastings: Instead of selecting a region or wine type -- SELECT a type of food and make people think about what they like: Examples:
Bring wines that go good with barbeque.
Bring wines that are great summer wines.
Bring wines that go good with salad.
Bring wines that are great burger, pasta and pizza wines.
Bring wines that go good with seafood.
Bring wines that go good with Dessert !!!!

Hope this sparks some thought, Latter, AGain THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR ORGANIZING

Absolutely great wines, a real step up from the past meetings. Thanks to the sponsor and all who contirbuted to the tasty array of food. This upscale selection of wines helped draw many newcomers who saw what a wonderful group of friendly invididuals this meetup has. Again, great wines with great people is always a winning combination.

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
